Help UK Air Ambulance Services by recycling your Used Postage Stamps

The UK’s Air Ambulance Services are charities which receive no government funding and rely entirely on charitable donations to continue flying and responding to life threatening medical emergencies.

We are now volunteering our time to help raise funds through the recycling of postage stamps.

All funds raised will be donated to the Association of Air Ambulances to be distributed equally to all UK Air Ambulance Services

Whether they’re British or overseas, new or used, send them to us and we’ll turn them into funds to keep the UK Air Ambulance Services responding to life threatening medical emergencies.

All you need to do is cut or carefully tear the stamped corner from any envelope or packet that you receive in the post and start a collection.

Stamps can be posted to:

Swing installation – possible for June

The Parish Council have just had an update that the weather issues have created a huge issue for the installation team at Streetscape, but they are working as hard as they can to ensure that our new swings are installed in the first week of June.

The Parish Council and Streetscape apologise for the delay.

Swings for Stramshall – a delay

Just to update everyone about the new Swings for Stramshall Playing Fields.

Due to the rain in the last few weeks, the contractor has updated the Parish Council that there will be a delay with the installation.

We have removed the old swings in anticipation of the new ones being installed, as you will have noticed, please bear with us and hopefully the new ones will be installed soon.

There will be an update on the website, as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your patience.

Aggregate Industries fund Stramshall Village Sign

The Parish Council have just had confirmation that Aggregate Industries will fund a sign for the entrance of the Village in Stramshall.

A local resident, Howard Orme, designed the sign and it will go into production next week. Because it is going to be hand painted, the sign will take approx. 12 weeks to complete.

Malcolm Lane and Sons – www.malcolmlane.co.uk will be making the sign.

The Parish Councillors are very grateful to Aggregate Industries for their help in making this project a reality.
