Staffordshire County Council Country Parks – Phased Reopening

· Following the publication of the Government’s updated guidance on exercising and staying safe during the COVID19 pandemic, the car parks at Staffordshire County Council’s country parks will begin a phased reopening from Wednesday, 13th May 2020; further details can be found on the county council’s social media accounts or via the county council’s website.

· Toilets will remain closed until additional hygiene and social distancing arrangements have been put in place and visitors should plan accordingly. Visitor centres and children’s playgrounds will remain closed for the time being.

· Visitors are asked to keep dogs on leads to help observe social distancing rules. Barbecues and fires are banned, and care must be shown when smoking owing to the strong risk to people, property and wildlife from fire. To ensure social distancing public gatherings of more than two people are still banned. Full guidance can be found here.
