STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 DIVERSION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC A522 UTTOXETER ROAD, UTTOXETER

NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 8th January 2019 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of A522 Uttoxeter Road in Uttoxeter from the newly constructed roundabout in a north westerly direction for approximately a distance of 175 metres to the JCB World Parts access unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Access to Anfield house stables will be maintained via a shepherd. Access to JCB World Parts will be maintained via twoway signals. No emergency access allowed.

An alternative route for traffic is available via A50 From Ashbourne Road Roundabout B5030 to East Staffordshire Borough Council Boundary, A50, A521 Uttoxeter Road, Uttoxeter Road, Draycott Road, A522 High Street, A522 Uttoxeter Road and vice versa. The order will come into operation on 11th January 2019 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date,

taking place at the following times:
20:00 Friday 11th January 2019
05:00 Monday 14th January 2019
20:00 Friday 25th January 2019
05:00 Monday 28th January 2019 (Contingency)
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28th January 2019.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the carriageway works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
