After some excellent applications received the parish council would like to welcome their new clerk, Charlotte Holmes. Charlotte comes with experience, maintaining a number of other parish councils in the East Staffs Borough, and is looking forward to the opportunity of working with the councillors and the Uttoxeter Rural Community. The council and the chairman would also like to take this opportunity to thank the previous clerk, Ginny Gibson, for her service and hard work over the years. Ginny has been a great asset to the council and she will be missed.
Meetings for the parish council continue to be held on the first Tuesday of each month, 7.30pm at Wilfred House, Uttoxeter, with all members of the public welcome.
