STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 DIVERSION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC B5013 ABBOTS BROMLEY ROAD, UTTOXETER
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 9 June 2020 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of B5013 Abbots Bromley Road in Uttoxeter from its junction with A518 Stafford Road for a distance of approximately 380 metres in a southerly direction unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works.
No access provisions, works access apart will be permitted for the full road closure period. No properties exist on the length of B5013 being closed. Access will remain along the B5013 for those properties and farms located on the B5013 beyond its junction with Uttoxeter Road and Quee Lane purely on an access only basis.
An alternative route for traffic is available via A518 Stafford Road, Loxley Lane, Uttoxeter Road and vice versa. For more information, visit: https://one.network/?tm=117135008.
The order will come into operation on 15 June 2020 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 October 2020.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the Barrett Mercia development S278 highway works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
