ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
BENNETTS LANE, BRAMSHALL AND LOXLEY LANE, LOXLEY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 10 May 2022 made an Order the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Bennetts Lane, Bramshall and Loxley Lane, Loxley
in so much as passes by and is in the vicinity of the level crossing unless the vehicle is being used in connection
with the works.
The order will come into operation on 15 May 2022 and the said works will commence on or as near as
practicable to that date taking place as follows:
from 22:00 hours on 15 May 2022 to 06:30 hours on 16 May 2022 and
from 22:00 hours on 22 May 2022 to 06:30 hours on 23 May 2022. – Work on 22nd/23rd May has now been delayed (updated 13.05.2022)
An alternative route for traffic is available via Loxley Lane, A518 Stafford Road, B5027 Stafford Road, B5027
Hockley Road, B5027 Oldfields Road, B5027 Stone Road, B5027 Bramshall Road, B5027 Stone Road and
vice versa.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the jetting and drainage cleaning works
undertaken by Chevron Retford, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
