NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 18 July 2018 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Old Uttoxeter Road in Combridge at its junction with Hook Lane unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to premises on the length of road or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
An alternative route for traffic is available via B5030 Ashbourne Road, A518 Ashbourne Road, Stramshall Road, Creighton Lane, Hook Lane, Old Uttoxeter Road and vice versa. For more information, visit: https://roadworks.org? tm=105981780.
The order will come into operation from 08:00 hours on 23 July 2018 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17:00 hours on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the blockage clearing works undertaken by A-Plant Lux Traffic Controls Ltd on behalf of BT Openreach, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
