Dear Residents
I can confirm that the Silver Birch Tree has today, 13.11.2020, been removed from the Village Green, Stramshall, as per the Parish Council resolution, at the Parish Council meeting, 3rd November 2020. Draft Minute Reference: 20.11.004.
I was on site when Michael Johnson, Tree Surgeon, (BTEC – 1st Dip Hort, nch-arb) and his quality team started the works and I apologised to residents who had not been informed of the date for removal. I hope all residents understand this was a health and safety issue and needed to take place quickly.
The Logs will be removed from the Village Green by WH Durose, as stated in the Draft minutes.
I hope you all agree that Michael Johnson and his team provide a good service and the job was completed between 8.30am – 10.30am. He can be contacted on 07976 028 265, or see his advert in the Uttoxeter Echo newspaper
They have also removed the branches from the Oak Tree, that were causing concern to the Bus Company and have ensured the Oak Tree will not be damaged any further by the buses.
I have attached a photo of the Village Green, so you can all see the site.
