Wildflower Border – Stramshall Village

Dear Residents

As you know,  the Parish Council gained funds to install 2 further water troughs onto the allotments, repair the fencing and create a wildflower border on the verge starting by the allotment gate, on the High Street, Stramshall.

The Parish Council have great pleasure in announcing that work on the wild flower border will start next week.

The border will be 1m wide and 40m long and will be installed and maintained by SJL Landscapes (https://www.sjllandscapes.com/), who were awarded the contract.

The hope is that in the spring/summer next year, the entrance to the village will be full of wildflowers to cheer everyone up.

We have been approached by a resident who wants to help to ensure this project is a success and if any further residents want to contact the Parish Council to become involved, please do so.

The Parish Council would like to say Thank You to Severn Trent Water, Community Fund, for providing the funds for the whole project, it is much appreciated.
