Cllr. Mark Winnington, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth at Staffordshire County Council has advised the following closures on the A50 that may affect residents:
- overnight closures on five consecutive nights from Monday, 19 June to Friday, 23 June on the westbound carriageway between 8.00 p.m. and 5.30 a.m. The eastbound carriageway is not affected. This is to allow a crane to lift each of the beams and attach safety equipment to be fitted prior to installation.
2. Between 8.00 p.m. on Friday, 7 July and 5.30 a.m. on Monday, 10 July the A50 will be closed in both directions to allow a crane to lift the beams for installation across the dual carriageway.
