We have been advised of the following:
University Hospitals of North Midlands opened earlier this week as one of the first Covid-19 vaccination hubs in the UK.
The hub will focus on vaccinating patients who are aged 80 or over and care home workers first, as well as NHS staff who have been assessed as being at highest risk of serious illness from COVID-19.
All those vaccinated will need a booster jab 21 days later.
The hospital will contact those that are eligible for a vaccination to arrange an appointment.
Staffordshire County Council will focus on getting the message out for residents to please not contact the hospital to try and arrange an appointment until they have contacted you.
