NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 7 May 2019 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Bennetts Lane / Loxley Lane in Bramshall in so much as passes by and is in the vicinity of the level crossing for a distance of 20 metres either side unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works. Access to local properties will be available.
An alternative route for traffic is available via Loxley Lane, A518 Stafford Road, B5027 Stafford Road, B5027 Hockley Road, B5027 Oldfields Road, B5027 Stone Road, B5027 Bramshall Road, B5027 Stone Road, Bennetts Lane and vice versa. For more information, visit: https://roadworks.org?tm=112925008.
The order will come into operation from 07:00 hours on 12 May 2019 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14:00 hours on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the annual level crossing testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
