TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
BENNETTS LANE, BRAMSHALL AND LOXLEY LANE, LOXLEY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 23 August 2022 made an Order the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Bennetts Lane, Bramshall and Loxley Lane,
Loxley in so much as passes by and is in the vicinity of the level crossing unless the vehicle is being used in
connection with the works.
An alternative route for traffic is available via Loxley Lane, A518 Stafford Road, B5027 Stafford Road, B5027
Hockley Road, B5027 Oldfields Road, B5027 Stone Road, B5027 Bramshall Road, B5027 Stone Road and vice

The order will come into operation on 29 August 2022 and the said works will commence on or as near
as practicable to that date taking place nightly between the hours of 21:00 and 06:30. It is
anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 September 2022.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the Chevron Retford works for drainage
installation, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
